Led by two prominent career coaches, the “Job Search and Career Development” sub-group is all about improving the work experience and professional satisfaction of Beacon members.

Using expert presentations, group interaction and structured networking, the “Job Search and Career Development” sub-group offers an innovative approach to job search and career management.

Bios of the Co-Chairs:

 

Ford R. Myers is an award-winning Career Coach and Certified Retirement Coach. He is author of “Get The Job You Want, Even When No One’s Hiring.” Ford’s firm, Career Potential, LLC, helps clients take charge of their careers, create the work they love, and earn what they deserve! He has held senior consulting positions at three of the nation’s largest career service firms. Ford’s articles and interviews have appeared in thousands of publications, web sites, television and radio networks. He has also conducted presentations at hundreds of companies, associations and universities.

Ken Sher is a Career Consultant and Executive Business Coach with extensive experience leading and coaching individuals and teams within fortune 200 companies to help clients better manage their careers and conduct job searches. His approach to Career Management and Career Transition is rooted in his own personal experience, and he has helped numerous people obtain new positions and get their careers back on track. Ken is a member of the Five O’clock Club, the Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN), and the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
