Leadership Lessons Learned from the Military
A Panel Discussion
We as business leaders seek to navigate safely through these uncertain and volatile times. As ambiguity and complexity filter into our day to day affairs, we continuously seek proven methods, which will increase the certainty of achieving our goals.
Military leadership has long stood the test of time. It remains an effective process for influencing others to accomplish the mission by providing purpose, direction, and motivations.
Many Beacon members never experienced the practical wisdom inherent in the way military leaders make things happen.
The Financial Executives and Operations Executives are partnering to offer the first in a series of panel discussions involving the military and private sector. Beacon has not taken on such an undertaking before, so this (and subsequent events) will be a work in progress.
The first program brings together three former Military Leaders, who will share their experiences in transferring the tools and strategies that served them well in the military and applying them in Corporate America to get real results.
Some key areas to be covered include decision making, planning, productivity, profitability and more. Attendees will leave with proven tools and strategies they can implement immediately.
