Job Search and Career Development

Networking for Career Change

Thursday, May 28, 2020
8:00 am - 10:00 am
Zoom (registrants will be emailed info 24 hrs in advance)

Many successful people find themselves in a career transition.  This often involves rethinking how we approach our next career opportunity.  The process can be frustrating and take longer than we anticipated.  Michael will relate his experience in changing careers from a corporate leader of technology and business improvement processes to a financial planner in a step by step, easy to follow and implement guide.

This program will help people understand how to take control of the search process.  By taking a business approach to your job search, we identify ways to make your search more productive.  This is particularly helpful if you are considering a career change.  Many have found this seminar as valuable for improving their networking as well as job search success.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone considering a career transition, especially from a corporate role to an independent business owner role, or a change moving to a career using a different set of skills from your current career path.

What Will You Learn?

At the end of the session participants will have a much better idea on organizing a job search.  It will help participants build a roadmap to finding information about companies, careers and opportunities as well as develop a prioritized structure for more effective networking and introductions.
