Beacon Technology Executives' and the Delaware Networking Exeutives' groups are excited for our 1st joint event:  A Beacon book unveiling!

Business Strategist, Expert on Digital Technology's impact, and Beacon DE Steering Committee Member, Rod Wallace, will debut his 1st published book, Drowning in Potential: The Impact of Digital Technology on Society. Throughout history, society has always had to evolve in response to technology development. Now, however, we're drowning in potential: American business, government, and culture are all failing to respond constructively to our new challenges.

As digital technology (computers and the like) developed since 1970, American business was transformed. The direct impacts of this technology are spectacular. Many businesses are delivering record profits and impressive new products.

However, digital technology has had indirect impacts, as well. Confusion and interconnected decision-making overwhelm our markets. Many of our businesses delivering record profits are still not delivering the basics— missing many of the highest value opportunities as a result. Deficiency in our healthcare and education, to name just two, are clear. In fact, the majority of our businesses are similarly deficient.

*Audience members will be able to reserve advance, signed copies of Drowning in Potential.

Heavy hors d'oeuvres and cash bar provided.
