Join us for the inaugural All-Beacon Book Read on May 23!

(COED event hosted by Beacon's Women's Network)

This is a new type of Beacon event -- a Book Read -- and you can be one of the first people to attend!

Are you a reader?  Or, perhaps you want to be a more avid reader?  Here's your chance to meet with other Beacon members to discuss a most thought-provoking book.

The book is Blindspot: Hidden Biases of Good People by Mahzarin R. Banaji and Anthony Greenwald.

Book Summary

In Blindspot the authors explore the hidden biases we all carry from a lifetime exposure to cultural attitudes about age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, social class, sexuality, disability status and nationality.  Blindspot is an invitation to understand our own minds and, in the process, be fairer to those around us.
