This year Beacon, formerly GPSEG, turns 15 years old. And what a history we share! From those early days of our founder, Chris Pavlides’ riding the train from Philly to New York to network, then gathering neighbors and friends and eventually creating a regional, professional organization with more than 20 subgroups today.
We believe that this rich legacy, and – more importantly the many individuals who contributed to this success - are a true cause for celebration. We are inviting you to join us in making 2017 a landmark year, culminating in an anniversary event on the evening of:
Thursday, November 2
at the newly-opened
Museum of the American Revolution
101 South Third Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106
Michael C. Quinn, President and CEO of the Museum, will be a featured speaker, sharing his insights on leadership with us. We will also be honoring this year’s recipients of our Networking for Life and New Member and MAC Member of the Year Awards. …and we are planning more highlights to be announced. We want to see our members, former members, alliance peers and invited guests to join us in this Anniversary Event. Space will be limited.
To make this event as unique and special as Beacon, we are asking for you to join our Founder’s Circle in planning to attend the event and support it. To become part of this significant group, we hope you will register as a Founding Circle member. We are creating this designation to truly engage our members in building the program. We are requesting a contribution to this designation of $200.00, which will include one registration to the event. You will have reserved seating at the Museum Event; a listing as a member of our Founder’s Circle on all event promotions and in our program, your name as part of our Founder’s Circle on the Beacon web site, and recognition at the event. Your support will ensure that we make this event one for the record books and truly celebrate 15 years of Networking, paving the way for the next 15.
Detailed information and registration is now posted on the Beacon website. We also hope to make this a year of celebration, with many opportunities to honor our past and look ahead to our future. Thank you for joining us; we look forward to seeing you.
