The CIO in the C-Suite – Leading Organizational Technology Decisions
Do you have the right seat in the C-Suite? Are you able to influence technology planning and engage your CXO peers for mutual success in strategic planning and implementation?
It is a challenge to communicate technical needs to non-technical people, to provide guidance to peers in the planning of implementations supporting their goals and to ensure your own expertise includes the kind of business planning and strategic thinking to fully participate as a leader. Your job includes the essential elements of security, privacy, organizational protection, as well as user accommodation and integration of applications. This program will focus on how successful CIO’s become organizational leaders as well as how other members of the C-Suite team can work collaboratively on technology decision-making.
Join this interactive discussion with nationally-known speaker Reggie Henry, the CIO of the American Society of Association Executives. In this capacity, Reggie is not only his organization’s leading technology strategist, but he provides leadership in technology for the nation’s trade and professional societies’ CIO’s. Reggie keeps his fingers on the pulse of new technologies, applications, how users experience rapidly-changing apps and devices, vendor relationships, and the roles that technology professionals can play in leading technology decisions and planning in their organizations.
Who should attend:
· CIOs who want to strengthen their positions with their C-level peers or clients
· CEOs who want to better understand the value their CIOs might provide with the right support and collaboration
· CFOs and COOs who want to strengthen their partnerships with their technology partners
