Do You Have a Lean Company or a Company That Does Lean Things?
With all of today's supply chain volatility and ever-changing customer demands, organizations must continuously reconfigure the way they operate or risk being reconfigured by the competition. This presentation will snap-shot a transformation prescription: move from tools to rules - you cannot kaizen your way to Lean. This presentation will examine the DNA of continuous improvement, explore the notion that if operational excellence and lean systems are so good, why then isn't every company already lean? Plus, we suggest to all those who aspire to be a Lean leader that it's time to 'wake up and smell the routines', the significance of leaders as teachers and establishing daily accountability.
Becoming a Lean [operational excellence] company is foundational to business transformation. This presentation concludes by highlighting the top ten organizational learning principles that can help you position a systemic approach to business transformation turning your continuous improvement investment into margin and growth.
