Debunking the Myth of Employee Engagement

Did you know…

70% of American workers are disengaged from their jobs?

Disengaged employees cost the U.S as much as $550 billion in economic activity each year?

Recent research shows that the problem isn’t generational—it’s managerial.  Most organizational leaders are applying the wrong approach to the wrong problem.  Come join us as Ben Bowman of Velocity Advisory Group shares the solution to unleashing employee engagement within your team.  You’ll walk away learning:

  • The direct correlation between employee engagement and profitability
  • The formula for true (and sustainable!) employee engagement
  • How the Motivated-Effectiveness Grid impacts your talent development planning
  • How to take control of the seemingly uncontrollable

Ben Bowman is the Vice President of Strategic Solutions for Velocity Advisory Group. Ben focuses on strategic planning, training, consulting, and working with clients through execution and implementation. He also develops much of Velocity’s product and training curriculum. Ben has worked with clients of all sizes—from start-ups and entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 corporations with global presence.
