Join us on October 6th for our “GPSEG Women Moving Forward: Ideas to Actions” event. At this event, we’ll share with you what’s been happening since we met in March at our first networking event, get more great ideas from you, and definitely have some fun.
The GPSEG Women's Task Force has been busy since the March Women's Networking Event and we’ve made progress! That's why this event is called GPSEG Women Moving Forward: Ideas to Actions. We’ve built upon your creative ideas for various ways to get women more engaged in GPSEG. Some areas we are excited about and have begun to develop further include: an awards program, roundtables for executive women, and increasing the presence of women in GPSEG leadership roles.
The October 6th event offers the chance for you to help get these ideas ready for implementation and develop new ones together.
We invite you to bring friends or colleagues. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served and are included in the meeting registration. There will also be a cash bar.
So, mark your calendars and register early as seating is limited. We want you to have a front-row seat in helping make GPSEG the professional organization for senior-level women!
4:00 - 4:30pm: Networking, light hors d'oeuvres, and cash bar.
4:30 - 6:30pm: Welcoming and honoring you - the Women of GPSEG
· Preview some insights from a new women's leadership book, "Breaking Through Bitch” with author Carol Vallone Mitchell and her business partner, Pat Schaeffer, a GPSEG member. Carol will talk about…
“The force that keeps women from coming together & how we can change that!”
· Move ideas into actions through interactive discussions on initiatives and ideas.
· Deepen your relationships and networking throughout the event.
We look forward to seeing those of you again from the March meeting and greeting new faces.
All women in GPSEG and their non-GPSEG women colleagues are welcome!
