GPSEG Operations Executive November 10th, Power Networking Program
It’s FUN, it’s highly interactive! Plan to join fellow GPSEG members at an energetic program delivered by Morris Yankell, co-chair of the Professional Services group. Morris will guide us through a Power Networking session guaranteed to leave you with lots of new connections.
What is it?
It is a chance for members to meet the maximum number of people - in multiple social and business situations - in the shortest amount of time, in the most authentic way.
Instead of going to a social hour and shaking scores and scores hands and maybe leaving with 5 business cards of people you hardly know, attendees are guaranteed to meet 15 or more people - in depth - so they can make genuine connections.
How does it work?
It is not speed networking. Rather, it’s a structured networking event in which tables of 6 members spend 20 minutes getting to know the maximum number of people, in the shortest amount of time.
The participants learn about one another through structured individual work and personal questions, a topic discussion and then by presenting to the overall group.
With this program, each attendee gets to meet others individually and as part of a group task-oriented discussion. The final portion enables all attendees to listen, as several participants are selected present to the overall group.
