“Striking the Balance:
Delivering Higher Quality of Care and Achieving Sustainability
in Healthcare through Technology”
Speaker: Ellen Derrico
Senior Director Product Marketing, Healthcare and Life Sciences, RES Software
Ellen Derrico, GPSEG Life Sciences Subgroup Chair, will be sharing her experiences with technology in healthcare and life sciences.
Recently, Ellen has been traveling both domestically and internationally, talking with leading healthcare providers in the UK, Netherlands and US, as well as other geographical markets over the last 5 years. While healthcare is approached differently in every country and funded differently, whether it is public or private, for profit or not for profit, all healthcare organizations are facing the same challenge: to balance quality of care and sustainability.
Ellen will be talking about the balance of achieving higher quality of care and improving sustainability in today's healthcare organizations and how technology can help positively impact both simultaneously. She will be talking about 4 levers to achieving balance around patient engagement, mobile workforce agility, security & compliance risk, and costs. And she will share how technology can also affect the 4 levers to improve quality of care and sustainability.
