Addressing our employees' financial wellness needs, while improving company profitability: Can we achieve both objectives at once?

Employee financial stress varies according to age, gender and income level.  It might come from paying off high student loans, having to put a child through college, inadequate retirement savings or taking care of an ailing parent.  All are major stressors that take time away from your employee being fully present at their job. The segment of the workforce that struggles with financial issues includes your most driven, committed and brightest people!  Roughly three-quarters of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck with little to no savings, and high amounts of debt.

Researchers say that "presenteeism" -- the problem of workers being on the job but, not fully functioning -- can cut individual productivity by one-third or more.  The American Productivity Audit calculated the total cost of "presenteeism" in the United States to be more than $150 billion per year.

In this interactive presentation, between Beacon's Financial Executives and Human Capital Management subgroups, you will gain awareness around identifying financial vulnerability among your employees and learn innovative and creative ways your organization can benefit from improving financial wellness.
