“Pathways to a Successful Exit – Part 1: Explore the Options”
Survey and contrast common methods for exiting your business
Are you a business owner looking forward to an eventual exit? Start considering the possibilities now - join us for a morning spent surveying ways to leave your business - whether transitioning to family members, selling on the open market, selling to a Private Equity firm, turning your business into an ESOP, or even refinancing to give you flexibility.
We will offer a panel discussion consisting of experts in each of the above areas, plus a Moderator with experience guiding business owners through a variety of exit strategies. Each Panelist will briefly discuss his/her business model and how the process works. The Moderator will then lead the panel through series of questions designed to highlight the differences between the exit strategies. Audience questions will be collected and posed to the panel, followed by closing remarks from each panelist.
We plan to have Guest Speakers spend a few minutes each describing past experiences with different exit strategies - to help illustrate what the process feels like to a business leader. A VIP Luncheon will be offered after the seminar, providing the opportunity for small-group interaction with the panelists. Please see the separate registration fee (and don't delay - we will keep this to a limited number of participants)
